Concrete cooling is an important technology in construction projects, especially when pouring large-scale concrete, excessively high temperatures may lead to problems such as insufficient early strength, cracks, and quality degradation of concrete. The application of ice is an effective method for cooling concrete.

During the concrete mixing process, the release of concrete hydration heat increases its internal volume, especially under high-temperature mixing conditions, the heat generated is higher; in future maintenance or low-temperature environments, the concrete temperature drops, resulting in a decrease in the internal volume of the concrete, a process that usually causes cracks in concrete slabs or buildings.
